“Christ, poor and crucified, victor over death and risen, the greatest manifestation of the love of God for humanity, is the ‘book’ in which the brothers and sisters in imitation of St. Francis, learn the purpose and the way of living, loving and suffering.”        General Constitutions OFS, Article 10

St. Frances X. Cabrini Fraternity

Secular Franciscan Order

Welcome to the website of our Secular Franciscan Order Fraternity. We are part of the St. Maximillian Kolbe Region in Northern Ohio. This is our home on the Internet. Here you will find the latest news and information about us. Our mission as Secular Franciscans is to live the Gospel life following the example of St. Francis of Assisi, who made Christ the inspiration and the center of his life.

Our Fraternity was established canonically on December 8, 1946. We are loyal to the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and live in full communion with our Pope and bishops. We gather for prayer, formation and fellowship at 1:30pm the 3rd Sunday of each month at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 1051 Robinson St. in Barberton, OH. We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and encourage you to check back often for updates.
