Our Fraternity continues to sponsor the Susamma Michael family in India through the Franciscan Family Apostolate.   The Franciscan Family Apostolate (FFA) was started in 1971 and was founded as response of the Secular Franciscan Order to the plight of the poor in the Third World.   It presently assists over 1300 destitute families in the district of Alleppey, Kerala, South India with monthly food subsidies, housing, medical attention and self-development programs.
